It has been a long hard journey and I have much to be grateful for.
I am grateful for all my volunteers. I am grateful for all the people who welcomed me and introduced me to their friends. I am grateful for all the considerate people who took my fundraising calls with a spirit of courtesy and generosity.
And I am especially grateful to the true Republicans who stepped in at the last minute to contradict the dirty tricks played on our campaign.
With less than a week to go, we have begun airing our first TV ad.

On Monday, February 25, I drove over to Jefferson City to officially file as a candidate in the 82nd District. As I walked around the rotunda of the Capitol, I was overwhelmed by the history of the building and the legacy of the men and women who have helped shape our great state. Serving our families and community would mean a lot to me, and I'm excited about the opportunities we have to make our state an even better place to live and raise our children.
